We are using SolarWinds to gather a lot of data about our routers and switches. A report is generated at the end of each month which is used to justify KPI's if they have been met or not.
Sometimes, when a router or switch gets replaced in the middle of the month, the data collected contains statistical data of the replaced device for half a month, and the rest is statistical data from the new device.
This poses an issue for us, when trying to show performance data of old and new devices.
Is there any way of managing this from a data collection point of view, when an old/faulty device is replaced by a new device in the middle of the month
