I live my nightmare everyday. I suffer from the "Cassandra Syndrome" at my company. I am the Availability Manager (within the ITIL framework) and I am not a Network Engineer, nor do I have any control over our LAN/WAN.I have Solarwinds NPM and APM installed. I run the reports and show the pretty colors, mostly blood red, to show where all of our problems exist, and there are plenty. Sinc these problems aren't causing immediate interruptions in service, or being actively complained about, I am often ignored. And then my phone rings at 1 in the morning...
