IPv6 will be a hard prototcol to implement thanks to NAT. NAT is not going to force the majority of people, companies, etc... to move to IPv6. Sure ISPs will soon not be able to provide IPv4 addresses to customer who want or need a Public IP address. So IP v6 will like stay on the edge at most may a DMZ zone but internally I see IPv4 staying. Which is better comes back to what application are getting coded for. When there is no or very little support for IPv6 taken into consideration it makes it a hard fight to get IPv6 going.
