Gregatkins:

Microsoft is not twisting our arm, it is our choice to use the new features and because the new features enable us to do more for less for our customers, it gives us a competitive edge.  The down side to the competitive edge is we are now on the bleeding edge of technology, everyone that works in IT knows that the bleeding edge is common to any and all software companies, not just Microsoft.

PS:  We did learn a new thing about AlwaysOn a couple of weekends ago.  When you install AlwaysOn it has a default of 2 errors per 6 hour time block.  So if there are 3 or more errors in a 6 hour time span, it will fail over.  Since our web page code was not properly tested in a test environment (sigh, don't get me started on this, I did object and I was told to get it to production anyway) it was still trying to connect to the now read only secondary database and go figure, it was throwing errors when it tried to update a read only database:)  Shocking I know:)  (hint:  just a little sarcasm here)
